Our employee Ilya Belomutov, who is working in NED's office in Saint Petersburg, became Microsoft Certified Master for SharePoint Office Server 2007 after three weeks intensive training in US. It's apparently the first MCM for SharePoint outside Microsoft's own organization both for Finland and Russia. All in all globally where are currently less than thirty MCM's for SharePoint.

Microsoft Certified Master is a new certification series offering exclusive, advanced training and certification on Microsoft server technologies for seasoned IT professionals. Completing the program validates one's skills as a technology expert who successfully designs and implements solutions that meet the most complex business requirements. Master certification enables experienced IT professionals to deepen and broaden their technical expertise on Microsoft server products and authoritatively differentiate themselves to employers and customers. It includes three weeks of highly intensive classroom training, three computer-based tests, and one lab-based exam per training rotation.
